Fireside rose cocoa

The bone-chilling high desert air in Joshua Tree, CA is deceiving. The blue sky and the dry air leads one to believe it's not THAT cold. In the fall the temps quickly dip into the low 40's and that's just the right temperature for lighting up the propane fire pit and treating yourself to a soul enriching mug of fireside rose cocoa.

After a day of hiking in Joshua Tree National Park your body requires a little extra care. The high desert conjures up spirited winds. And when the air is cool it can feel like the wind runs off with a bit of your internal warmth.

Sitting bundled up fireside at The Sukha Life Retreat www.thesukhaliferetreat.com with a big mug of rich rose cocoa replenishes the soul.
